Start slow. Breathe in for 4 counts, out for 8. Then lip trills up and down your range. 3 rounds at your chosen duration. Don't push — warm-ups prep, not perform.

Hum at your most comfortable pitch — that's your middle. Slide up as high as feels natural, then down as low. Don't strain. Mark where effortless ends. Repeat 3 times.

Hand on chest, hand on belly. Breathe in so only your belly hand rises. Hold 4 counts. Exhale slowly. 10 reps. This is the foundation for everything.

Pick a lyric — any lyric. Say it angry. Say it in love. Say it like a secret. Notice how your body, breath, and tone change. That's the instrument.

Don't think. Just talk. Whatever comes out — nonsense, feelings, observations. No beat needed. The goal is to take the pressure off and let your voice move freely.
